We created this home with a client who was newly married and they were creating a space where they could merge their 2 families. With 4 kids between them, they needed a space that was functional, beautiful and connected with nature.

Perched on a hill on the westside of Los Angeles, the home opens up from front to back allowing the kids and animals to come and go as they please.

It was important to our client that the space was welcoming and functional with interesting pieces that the kids could live on.

The living room opens up to the dining and kitchen creating a great room that is perfect for the family to congregate. Hidden behind a wall of doors next to the dining table is a built in desk unit which can be closed off when not in use.

Nature was a driving force for the client and in the primary bedroom, we selected a dramatic drape flocked in a floral pattern that connects the bedroom to the hillside beyond.

To add to the indoor outdoor feel of the home, we created a lounge off the living room as you enter the house and landscaped with Mediterranean plants and a trickling water feature.
